With over two decades of experience in construction accounting, Jessica is the go-to expert for keeping finances in check in an industry where costs, timelines, and unexpected surprises are just part of the daily grind. “Then again, isn’t that every business?” she says with a laugh.
But don’t let the spreadsheets fool you—this bookkeeper has a wild side. She lives for experiences, whether it’s traveling to new destinations, screaming for the Lightning at Amalie Arena, or making sure no one leaves a meal unfinished in her presence (seriously, food is the way to her heart).
Jessica’s partner-in-crime? Ivy, her beloved Siamese cat, who reigns supreme in her household. “She’s my absolute world,” Jessica admits, proving that even the toughest numbers whiz has a soft spot.
What’s your specialty?
Before joining Go Figure, I spent over 20 years specializing in construction accounting—a fast-paced, ever-changing industry that kept me on my toes. Now, I get to take that experience and apply it to helping a variety of businesses get their finances in order, and I love the challenge of making the numbers work for them.
What’s the best part of your job?
I actually enjoy what I do. It’s kind of rare to find a job you genuinely like, and after 20 years in the industry, I know I’m well-suited for it. Plus, I get to work with some pretty awesome people.
What do you do when you’re not crunching numbers?
I believe life is about experiences—you’re not really living if you’re not out there experiencing things. I love traveling, going to concerts, and I’m a huge Tampa Bay sports fan. If the Lightning, Bucs, Rays, or USF are playing, there’s a good chance I’m watching.

I’m a sarcastic smartass—I love to laugh and joke around. Also, the way to my heart? Food. Feed me, and I’m yours forever. Seriously, I don’t mess around when it comes to good food.
